welcome!

I felt so loved. I had several people check in with me to see how I was doing and if I was okay because I hardly did any blogging last week. The reason why... I was sicker than a dog! It seemed that whenever I finally was feeling better, something else would happen. I had no desire to even look at the computer, much less read blogs or emails. I was already behind on emails as it was, and after not checking email or anything for several days, I am now even further behind.

On top of that, Kevin was gone for three days at the high school retreat. I got sick Tuesday night and was terrible on Wednesday. They were leaving the next morning, and he offered to stay back. But I didn't want him to miss it. So he went and had a good time. Being sick with an active 10 month old who gets into everything he possibly can is definitely not fun. Seth was really good though, so I can't complain much. Kevin also told everyone I was sick, so I had lots of other people check in on me and offer to help by watching Seth or doing whatever. I really appreciated it. Audrey was such a good friend. She spent the night Friday night and hung out with me lots, which helped take my mind off of not feeling well, which is a very good thing.

I am now happy to report that I am feeling better, although my body is still not in the swing of things. I am hesitant to each food other than crackers or toast.

So that's why I stopped blogging last week. Thanks for caring! :)

Tonight we drove to Telki to the hospital to meet baby Thomas. Seth is no longer the youngest one in the community any more. It was a position he held for a little over 10 months. We had the boys meet each other. Neither one of them seemed interested in each other, but that will change soon. Seth loves to grab and pull at everything and everyone, so I have to watch him like a hawk when he's around other little kids, not to mention such a tiny little one. But Thomas looks just like his daddy and was the most content and quiet little guy while we there. He is just beautiful, and we are happy to welcome him! So welcome baby Thomas!!!

By the way, Seth has always looked so tiny being the smallest one around all the time, not to mention that he is small for his age anyway. Now he looks like a GIANT to me after getting to see and hold little Thomas. :)
