i'm counting that pain as a blessing

It's been two weeks since I last blogged. We've been busy and enjoying every single moment here. I do have some pictures to put up...but like usual, I'll have to do it later. :)

We have done some fun things around here with the kids and traveled last weekend to my grandparents' house in OH. Kevin's family drove from NY to meet us there, and they got to meet Kate for the first time. It was wonderful.

I am so glad that the kids and I have had the opportunity to have a few extra weeks here. It's not fun being away from Kevin, but it has allowed us some down time. Two summers ago when we were last here, it was so rushed in trying to do everything we wanted and see everyone. I know that it will feel rushed when Kevin gets here, but these past three weeks have been precious.

I can tell you now that leaving again in August (or whenever we have 100% of the support we have to raise in order to go back) will be painful. It always has been, and I don't think it'll ever get easier. But I am counting that as a blessing. We could not get along with family and be dying to get away, but that's not the case. Quite the opposite. Just makes leaving all the more difficult. Heaven will be a wonderful place. :)

P.S. My blog is still on Hungary time... I am not up at 4 something in the morning writing this. :)

I'm so glad you've been able to be blessed and "relaxed" a bit these past weeks. I'll be praying you through the rushed times of these next months as well, and hopefully see you too!

Thanks for the reminder that sometimes the painful things are blessings in disguise, and that God is still on His throne, and knows exactly what is right. Love to you all!
