if we do not give up

Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (NIV)
Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. (NAS)
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. (NLT)
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (KJV)
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. (ESV)

I have come across that verse countless times this week, and it generally happened in unrelated things. I think the Lord is trying to tell me something. :)

I have been weary. I have lost heart. I have been tired. I realize life comes in waves, and I know that it's not supposed to be easy. But sometimes you just need some encouragement to keep going. Warm sunshine and a son who has been amazing this week have both been an encouragement to me to keep going. I know that Christ is not finished in me or with anyone, so I must not give up.

I just want to be someone who truly loves your Son.
(My desire...and a line from my new favorite song!)

Zsolt came over for dinner last night. We just love him, and he loves us. God has blessed us with Zsolt. I pray that we are a blessing to him and continually show him Christ's love.

And of course, a few pictures!

Kate tries so hard to sit up. As you can see, she can't do it fully yet, but she is close. She has amazing stomach muscles as she can hold this position for quite awhile before gently lowering to her toes. :) I am excited for her to sit up because she wants to sit or stand all the time, and playing will be so much more fun!

Kate is much more comfortable with Seth holding her now for longer periods of time. Yeah!

Warmer weather meant a walk to see Dad at school. Seth asked to wear "Dad football helmet hat" so that's what he's wearing (Cleveland Browns). I love that it comes down so low and makes his ears stick out. He was too excited to be out in the warm sunshine to want to stop and let me take his picture. The jacket ended up coming off because he was too warm in it. Another yeah!

This post was so encouraging to me! I too have been feeling weary. My little ones are precious and have wonderful temperaments, but so many days I am just tired. I can't imagine being in another country at the same time. Praying for you during this season. May He continue to work in your relationships and reveal His love in the little things.
