success

I just saw that my last post was number 500! Wow! It has been a little over two a half years though, so that's not too bad. I guess I just have a lot to say. :)

The important news though is that we got our table and chairs yesterday. Zsolt called around lunch time and said he had some free time to go over to the store and help us. Kevin was free at the time, too, so we went to get them.

I almost had a heart attack when we got to the store and I saw one of the clerks changing out the sale signs on various items in the store, including the set we wanted. Zsolt looked at me, and we just laughed. It was not a funny ha ha but more of a "you've got to be kidding me" ha ha. Praise the Lord that the clerk who rang us up was the same one from the night before and gave it to us still at the sale price. And the price difference was about $230, no small change for us. We wouldn't have been able to get it had they not given us the sale price.

Oh, and one other "you've got to be kidding me" moment was when we went to pay for it and they said the credit card machine was not working. We didn't have that much cash on us, but Zsolt to the rescue once again. So thankful for him! (P.S. We stopped by the ATM on the way home to pay him back. :))

On our way out, Zsolt told us it was luck that things worked out the way they did in us still getting the sale price after everything else. I said, "No, praise the Lord!"

YAY you finally got the table and chairs. I bet your home will feel more complete now. I wish we could just stop by to see it! I love how you decorate. As my gradpa always says "Use them in good health"

Love ya,

That's so great that y'all got the table and chairs you wanted, and at the sale price! The other day, my dad and I were discussing a new Walmart near us, and how it kept selling out of a particular product and not restocking it. It reminded me of life in Hungary. Good times!
