random tidbits

My blog is still set to Hungarian time. I don't know why since I have set the time zone to CST, but oh well. No biggie. But I am not up at 3 a.m. or anything like that blogging!

The plan was to do Skype with Zsolt and Gabi today. They really wanted to set up some times that we could chat with them over the summer, which I thought was so sweet and thoughtful. However, we ended up missing each other, so we never ended up getting to talk. Oh well. Another time hopefully.

We got to go to Kohl's today and get some things we have needed for quite some time. It's good to check things off the list! It's also great that just about every store has some sort of sale and coupon thing going on right now. How I have missed sales! Just about everything seems to be cheaper here.

Tomorrow we are having an ultrasound done to find out what we are having. We had a doctor's appointment the day before we left to double check and make sure everything was okay and hoped to find out what the gender was. But my doctor couldn't tell and just guessed. I was really disappointed because there is no way we can afford to pay for an ultrasound here, and our insurance won't cover it here (like it does anytime we want in Hungary). We want to know what we're having so we can bring things back, especially if it's a girl since we don't have anything for a girl. My dad knows a guy from church who is an ultrasound technician and asked him how much it would cost to have it done, and the man said that if I go to his clinic tomorrow he'd do it for FREE. He can't do it at the hospital where he works due to liablity and all of that, so tomorrow we are going to the clinic to find out! We are really excited and feel so blessed that we can have it done without having to pay for it. Thank you Jesus!

And here are two pictures from our weekend at Lake Balaton a couple weeks ago with Zsolt and Gabi. I thought these were so cute. Zsolt was chopping up wood for a bonfire, and Seth wanted to be just like him. And then they had a little sword fight with the little pieces.
