smells good

Kevin stayed home with Seth from church this morning, and Mason woke up not feeling well either. So it was just Janie and me at church. Seth seemed fine all day, but he was whining and clingy when he woke up from his afternoon nap. He had spurts of seeming okay, but then something would happen and he would melt down. I still don't think he feels very well. He looked so sleepy, too. I put him to bed super early, and I pray that he sleeps through the night and gets a good rest. He did fine last night, but he acted as if he hadn't gotten in any naps in days. Poor little guy.

But we are enjoying our time with the Weir's. They are great kids. Mason is making us a bunch of snacks right now. Growing up we always had our big Sunday dinner after church and snacks or some light dinner that my mom didn't have to cook in the evening. My dad would sometimes make us grilled peanut butter. Yum! Anyway, that's just what we do now. Usually Kevin makes pizza for us Sunday night. So now Mason volunteered to make various things for all of us. How nice. I love that I don't have to cook again. :)

I hope Seth feels better soon. We are also dealing with a sick little one. Miss Madi has a fever and stuffy nose, which made her nap this afternoon impossible. She is sleeping now though, so we are hoping she stays that way until morning.

Stefanie Joy... shame on you!! Grilled peanut butter is the absolute BEST :) I'm with you on that one, Kristen! I haven't had it in a long time - maybe that's what I'll do tonight :) It's a good comfort food when it's cold outside.
