ice day

Today there was no school due to the ice. I was honestly quite surprised when Kevin got the phone call at 6:30 this morning. The roads were pretty icy this morning, so it was a good thing. We were glad to have Kevin home today. Several teachers were still at school doing work or whatever.

At about 8:30 this morning, we heard people outside. That's normal on a school day, but Kevin went to check. Apparently several families did not get the call. Not sure what happened there. Kevin got a hold of his families within minutes. You could tell a couple of them were waiting there by the phone. That cracked me up.

Seth got lots of play time in at the gym. I think he thinks it's his gym. He knows exactly where to go to find all of the balls. He was even trying to shoot the basketball into the hoop. Seth knows what to do! Now if only he were a little taller (or a lot!) and a little stronger (or a lot!).

Kevin made pizza for us for lunch today. That was a nice treat. We like garlic. Good thing since Hungarians love their garlic. Kevin puts garlic powder on the crust before baking it. Yum! Last time I went to the store, I bought more garlic powder since we were out. Check out the size!

I love the Hungarian attitude towards garlic. I'm pretty sure they don't sell it by the kilo (or lb)in the States, do they?

Ah, well, the more the better! :)
