I am grateful the cupcake making is done! I realized that 100 wouldn't be enough, so I ended up making 10 dozen. That's a lot of cupcakes. The good part about all the baking is that I have no desire to eat anything. Seriously, lost the appetite after being around sweets for the last several days. And speaking of sweets, I made the icing for Seth's cake tonight, and the cake is currently baking in the oven. We are going to have cake and ice cream with our "family" here after Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday. Yum! I have lots more to do tomorrow and Thursday.
I was thinking that a year ago today that Kevin and I were up late watching a movie because I didn't have to go to school the following day. I was thrilled about sleeping in. Little did I know what would happen in several hours!
I am grateful that we got the opportunity to take this dance class with Zsolt and Gabi. Tonight was the last night of the 10 week course, and they asked us to take the second level with them. To be honest, I really didn't want to for several reasons, but the only reason why I considered it was to get to spend time with them. The next few months are crazy with Kevin's basketball schedule and trying to work around that for ELI, dance class, volleyball and anything else. But in the end, we decided we'd make it work so that we could still hang out with our friends. Zsolt's response when we told them we'd take the next level with them, "I'm very happy!" That was worth it for both of us.
