I just got off the phone with my cousin Aimee. My cousin Tyler is going in tomorrow for a biopsy and a PET scan on his elbow. He was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma in May of 2007, but he has been in remission. Several tests and x-rays have been done but nothing is 100% conclusive that it either is or is not cancer. Tomorrow's tests will tell them for sure. Currently things do not look "normal" so that is the concern, especially having just gone through all of this not too long ago when he experienced similar pain in his knee.
Tyler was just starting his freshman year at Cedarville University in Ohio. He has currently packed up to head home to NY to meet with his oncologists there, and they will wait to hear news from tomorrow's tests to see what to do next. We of course are praying for good news and that he'll be able to head back to school!
Obviously there are lots of thoughts and feelings going on right now. I just ask that you pray for Tyler and all of the family. I will let you know when I know. Thanks.
