I am in the process of trying to write one big email -- our January update for supporters. It's easy to read email and other various things, but typing an email is much more challenging than before. I try to get some typing done in those inbetween times when Seth is taking a cat nap or something, but there is usually too much to do besides email in the time that he is sleeping. Plus, I always have way too much to say in emails, so I am trying to keep our email short but still have some details. It would be so unlike me not to share enough, and I don't want to disappoint. :)

But I have done lots of reading today, which is always such a good and fun thing. I also spent a lot of time reading on the internet, mainly reading about other missionaries in Eastern and Central Europe. It is so neat to read and hear how God is working in the lives of people throughout the world. I have enjoyed reading about this region mainly because my heart is truly here.

I know I have said this before, but it is amazing to be a part of the body of Christ. It doesn't matter if you're here or there or anywhere (sounds like something out of Dr. Seuss), but there are believers who really love the Lord everywhere. We have been blessed by countless in the US and countless here in Hungary and even some we barely know or really don't know at all in other parts of the world.

The ways we have been blessed and the people we have been blessed by are too numerous. Our supporters pray for us, encourage us, and support us financially so that we can be here. All of the medical bills we had for the delivery of Seth have been taken care of by supporters too. Praise the Lord! It's amazing how I really struggle to trust God in the area of finances, and yet he has provided for us time and time again. We have been blessed by people like Pam, Whittington, Kim, and Becky who always ask if I need a ride to the store of if they can pick me up something. Not having a car has been quite difficult at times, and yet God has provided us with people who love us and help us, even let us borrow their car! We have also been put in touch with many different missionaries from Central and Eastern Europe, and even in Qatar(!), with questions regarding medical issues we are having. Everyone is eager to help and offer their help. I can't imagine being here without all of these people to help us.

But most importantly, as my mom and I were discussing this yesterday, I can't imagine being here without the Lord. I don't even know how people live life at all apart from God, and I'm so glad I don't have to. No one does!

Sweet post. I love reading stuff like this, how God takes care of us.
