boldog karácsony!

Merry Christmas!

Why would I be saying that now that Christmas has passed, you ask? Well, Aunt Stefanie and cousin Daniel sent Seth two huge packages with the most adorable bedding for his crib! It was such a fun surprise to receive, and she even sent us gifts, too! One of the boxes was filled with little bags of Cheez-It crackers all around the gift. Oh how fun! What a great sister I have! Thanks Steffie and BooBoo! We love you and miss you so much.

Despite not getting to take a shower today (which is a huge pet peave and annoyance of mine), I did get lots done in the kitchen. I made my own croutons, and they turned out fairly well. No croutons here so I guess if I want them, I'll be making them. Well, I did find some in the international section once, but they weren't good. And it is considerably cheaper to make homemade ones. I also finally made sausage. I haven't cooked it yet, so I don't know how it'll taste. I will be cooking it up in the next day or two. I'll let you know that turns out, too. I also made dinner with lots of leftovers for Kevin's lunch. It was a successful day in the kitchen.

Seth's birth announcement was in the Diósd paper. Someone saw it and gave us a copy. That was super cool. I don't know if someone we know did that for us or if it's done through the hospital, but it was a pleasant surprise to receive that this morning as well. His name definitely sticks out, as no part of it is Hungarian. Without thinking, I pronounced his name as if it were Hungarian and realized too late that it is way too close to a swear word. Kevin has been making fun of me for that all night...
