Happy New Year!

As I post this, I realize that you, dear friends in the States, are still in 2007, but we have crossed over into 2008. We did it in style with many missionary families (and some Hungarians), many of whom we had never met. It is always neat to meet more people in the body of Christ from around the world.

After praying in the new year and thanking God for all that we have, we listened to the Hungarian national anthem at midnight. They celebrate the new year also by setting off fireworks everywhere and eating lentils, which means that you will have riches that year. Being that we are all missionaries, we all had a good laugh at this. Everyone suggested that they write supporters to tell them this. Ha ha.

But I did want to let all of our supporters know that we continually thank God for all of your love, support, and prayers. We couldn't be here without you, and we love the encouraging emails. We took time during our group prayer time tonight to thank God for the THOUSANDS of supporters that were represented in that room to have all 60 people there. I was just so amazed to think at how many people and churches it takes to support all of us here, and so we all say thank you.

Boldog új évat!
