Vonage is the coolest thing ever. It's amazing to be able to talk on the phone and feel like you're right back next door to those you love. Let us know if you want the number by emailing us or leaving a comment. It works like calling any number in the States but reaches us over here. So cool!
Good news... We finally found a refrigerator that is narrow enough and yet bigger than our dorm sized one that fits in our flat. That was an exciting moment as we were losing hope that we'd actually be able to find one. Now to just purchase it (with our landlord's money!) and get it delivered with our extremely limited Hungarian...
We got our Christmas tree this week. It is decorated with some cheap IKEA ornaments, but it is my first real Christmas tree in my life. Although more work than the artificial one, it is fun to have the real one. We're not doing a good enough job watering it though, as the branches at the bottom are starting to wilt.
Our kitchen/entry looks so much better with the new curtains my mom helped cut and hem for us while they were here. Amazing how something little like that can make such a big difference. We also got a tiny little lamp for Seth's room so that we don't have to use the atrocious lamp hanging from the ceiling. That also makes the room look much warmer. If only I could take down that tacky thing hanging from the ceiling... Now to get some little lamps for our bedroom too.
Seth slept for two 4-hour chunks of time last night. Amazing how much more refreshed I feel today with an extra hour or two of sleep! I am a girl who loves her sleep, so I was incredibly grateful. It is scary to wake up and feed him and then realize at the next feeding that you don't remember ever putting him back.
And now for our first family Christmas photo in front of our tree!
