...and we're back

"Most?" [pronounced "mosht"]

"Most?! Igen!"

I didn't understand much of the conversation on the phone today with the internet service man, but when he asked if he could come now, I told him yes. 3 stressful hours later, he left us with the internet running at our house. Oh happy day!

I don't want to toot my own horn here, but I am going to... :) I ordered the internet all by myself! Yes, it was in very broken Hungarian. And yes, it took 90 minutes, probably 75 minutes longer than normal had I spoken Hungarian well. And yes, I was with two tired kids who wanted to do anything but sit and wait for that long for me to order the internet. But I did it! The woman at T-com was very patient and did not get frustrated with me for my poor Hungarian, although she had every right to. I came home and told Kevin that I thought I ordered the internet. She told me something like that they would call within 7 days to set up an appointment, so I was beginning to think that maybe I had misunderstood her when I never received a call.

But this morning I got the call, and now we're all set. Praise the Lord! And I really mean it. I am so thankful that it was quick this time, that the Lord gave me the courage and the T-com people the patience they needed with me, and that everything worked. A big answer to prayer for us!

Now to catching up on emails, blogs, Facebook, recipe links and all of that. And VONAGE!!! Here's to feeling more connected.

Oh, and now Kevin can do his grad school work and other school work at home, those little things you know. :)
