Ah, such sweet sunshine and hot weather today. It doesn't seem so bad or too hot when you're sitting next to a pool to enjoy it. I don't mind getting sticky and sweaty when I know that I can jump in at any moment to cool off. It was wonderful.
Kim and I spent most of the day together at the pool. I had been told of this pool at a little campground in Érd, the next little town over and literally minutes away, but I had not been there yet this summer. We had such a great time hanging out and talking all day, just the two of us. People give me a hard time about talking a lot, but those people haven't met Kim. And I mean that in the best way. Kim is also an excellent listener. I don't think there has ever been a moment of silence between the two of us since we first met almost six years ago when I was student teaching for her. It was just such a wonderful day!
Unfortunately I can safely say that despite having a wonderful time and almost no people to share the pool with, I probably won't be going back anytime soon. It was SO expensive! It was more than we were told, and so Kim tried in her best Hungarian to basically ask why it was so much. The lady rattled off for minutes on end, and I was quite amazed that I actually understood the general gyst of what she was trying to say! Now I know I missed most of it, but I got the point and understood. That was awesome and worth the money to pay to go swimming for the first, and probably last, time this summer!
