zöld és fehér

green and white

The basketball tournament started this afternoon. It was fun to watch the games, but before that, we attended the pep rally earlier this afternoon. I like being part of a school where I know students in the whole school and they know me. It makes watching them play actually fun because I know them!

Here is a picture from the pep rally of both Varsity basketball teams (Kevin is assistant for the girls):

Here is a picture of the boys JV team that Kevin is the head coach of:

And here is a picture of several of the Hungarian ladies who work at the school. They are from left to right: Gyongyi, Anita, and Ibolya (and of course Seth!). I knew Ibolya from before when I student taught here, and she is one of my favorite people. I love her! Her life story is amazing.

Seth is wearing a "youth small" ICSB t-shirt given to him by one of the teachers who ordered that size instead of an "adult small" on accident! He is obviously swimming in it, but we don't have any green clothes for him to wear to support the Bulldogs! The students think he should be the new mascot, but in order for that to happen, we need some sort of ICSB Bulldog clothing that will fit him. :)

Go Bulldogs! Hey, in one picture of the gym, I see flags hanging from the ceiling. Is that Robert Humphry's Eagle Scout project? I've heard bits and pieces and thought he might have finished. Have fun and the tournament! Eat lots of American style treats. :)

Yes, that was from Robert's project. They represent all of the nations of students from ICSB. I counted 25 flags!
