the art of gestures

(In English because I have no idea how to say that in Hungarian!)

Just wanted to say that despite me being certain that the guy from Tigáz wouldn't show up on a Sunday night, he finally did! He fixed the gas problem, and we were able to get the house heated and filled with a never ending flow of hot water. I found out that it is true that we will never run out of hot water at our house because of the way our heating system works. I don't know how it does, but we won't ever run out of hot water, unless of course we have no gas!

As far as the gestures, Kevin was home by the time the guy showed up and was trying to make gestures to explain that we also had a gas leak. I called Ildiko so that perhaps she could talk to him over the phone and say it in Hungarian, but that was never needed. As soon as he got the gas working again, he instantly smelled as well that we had a leak somewhere. He sprayed some stuff and found where the leak was and fixed it. A gas leak is no small matter, and so I see how our gas getting cut off truly was a blessing in disguise as the guy from Tigáz was able to fix the leak as well. And with the way that all of our neighbors love to smoke, I'm sure we would have had a problem one day when someone went to light up outside.

We had a bunch of people call to check in when they heard about our gas problem and asked if we needed anything or if they could help. We are so blessed! Thanks again Whit for the space heater. (That's 3 times now in 2 days!)
