I wish real life was more like a musical.

I've always been a fan of musicals since I was in kindergarten. That was the year I fell in love with "The Sound of Music." It's been my favorite movie ever since. I hope to take the tour this summer in Salzburg. We might do that when my parents come again.

I have to do it with you, though, Aimee! You and I could quote the entire movie and sing all the songs while on the bus. So come visit so we can do that!

Although I can't carry a tune, I would love to burst into song about daily occurrences. And to be completely honest, Kevin and I have done that before. We have sung conversations and stuff to each other before. It it quite fun. Life should be more like that.

On a completely different note, Seth and I went to the grocery store this afternoon with Kim. I strapped him to my chest in the carrier and went shopping with him that way so that there would be room for actual groceries in the cart instead of just his car seat. Countless Hungarians came up to us to say what I am sure were nice things, as I could obviously not understand what they were saying. Many others who did not come up to us just would stare and make all kinds of faces like they were so delighted. He attracts attention wherever he goes. We did get a few free diapers out of it all, and that was nice!

Oh, and I finally got a few pictures developed. Kim showed me where and how to do it at the mall. Yeah! I have to say, though, that I was able to figure it all out once I saw the "English" button. English is the best language to know. But now I at least know where to go, and that was good.

Yes... I wish life was more like a musical as well!!! Pretty much that's how MY life runs - though most don't join in the fun :) Shane & I were actually talking about going to Austria to do the "Sound of Music" tour... so maybe we'll have to make that a reality!!
